RPSAMPLE::Bella paced the living room of the cottage. Something was wrong with her baby girl and she had no clue what it was. She ran her hand through her hair, and sighed. She heard Nessie throwing up again and her stomach lurched. Renesme had never been this sick before, what could possibly be the matter?.
Holding her breathe Bella went into Nessie's room to find her throwing up in her bathroom. Carlisle stood over her rubbing her back and holding her hair back. Bella couldn't stand to see her daughter like this.
Carlisle looked up at her, the expression he wore wasn't a good one. He looked confused which meant whatever was wrong with Nessie wasn't good. She didn't realize that she was making a choking sound. This is how vampires cried, she remembered how Esme had cried when Alice and Jasper disappeared

OVERALLPERSONALITY::Alysa, suffice to say, detests her current state. It's not to say that she doesn't cope with it, but she hates the fact that she can't be normal. Aside from this, Alysa is known to be smart; she usually thinks things through rationally before making dramatic decisions. She is also good at adapting to brand new situations; unlike some, who take a longer time to adjust to change. However, she is also known to be independent, as that is how she has 'grown up' through all these years. There had never been anyone to help her adapt to her new way of living, and she finds that - when help is offered to her - she would much rather reject the idea of working with another person. In a way, that may make her cold-hearted, but don't let that sway you: she simply feels that by relying on others, they'd (eventually) only open up another hole inside her where she would end up weak, vulnerable and out of her element.

HISTORY:: Alysa was born to Kazeem and Amira Solomon in a large mansion in Florence, Italy. Her birth had occurred in the middle of the Italian Renaissance, but despite that her family lived happily through those semi-difficult times. Although Kazeem had been hoping for a son, he still welcomed Alysa into the family and began to home-school her; due to the fact that he worked for the House of Medici (as an accountant), he had more than enough power to secure his only daughter the best tutelage and went on to work as the Medici family's head accountant. Alysa's mother, Amira, was a stay-at-home mother, dealing primarily with the management of the maids and servants as well as the upbringing of her daughter, who was growing up to become a beautiful young lady.
As Alysa was growing up, she noticed that she was not allowed to spend as much time with her father, due to his work hours that ended up separating himself for his family. Her mother thought nothing of it: his work would benefit everyone in the long run, after all. However, whenever Kazeem was away, a man (Cristiano) was known to come and visit often. However, his visits were for one reason and for one reason only: Amira. Being a widower, Cristiano was hoping to convince Amira to marry him, for he dubbed her as "heavenly": Alysa had inherited her beauty from her mother. Obviously, Amira refused but Cristiano was persistent; he would visit regularly, and Amira did not know what to do. However, he then stopped with the visits and the two women (Alysa now 13 years of age and insisted on being referred to as a "woman") were relieved. But Amira didn't hold back; she told Kazeem about him, and - of course - the Arabian male was blind with rage.
The next day, Kazeem resumed his duties and Amira began to teach Alysa how to play the harp (due to the latter's insistence). However, they noticed that it was getting dark and Kazeem still had not come back home. But their hearts (metaphorically) shattered when a messenger from the House of Medici told them the news: Kazeem's body had been found - lifeless - dumped in an alleyway. At once, the Solomon servants hastened to retrieve the body, in order to give it a proper burial. Amira and Layla stared on in horror, and the House of Solomon began grieving.
A couple of weeks passed in relative silence; at least, to Layla. Amira was personally visited by Ferdinando I de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany. Meanwhile, Alysa would resume her everyday life with no interruption: that is, until she saw Emilio (Cristiano's son) outside her house one day. So, after sneaking past her 'guard', Alysa went to see what he wanted. They talked for a while, Layla wary of (both) his intentions and his good looks. It was only when Emilio went to move closer to her that it struck her: he was only trying to seduce her, like his father had attempted to seduce her mother. Hastily, she moved away from him and - in retaliation - Emilio (hot-tempered that he was) began unintentionally informing her of what had really happened to Kazeem: Cristiano had been the one to kill him, after Kazeem had confronted him. Due to the fact that Cristiano was surrounded by his guard (and was also part of the Pazzi family), murdering Kazeem was "relatively easy". Shocked and angered beyond belief, Alysa attempted to slap Emilio but he swiftly held her arm before she could deal the harmful blow. Had her servants not called out for her (which scared Emilio away), Alysa was afraid to think of what would have happened next.
2 years passed, in which the Solomon House had slowly began mending itself, due to the help of the Medici family, who would never forget "how much Kazeem has done for us". Amira, grateful for the help, went to ask Alysa to deliver a letter she had written to Galileo Galilei. As Amira herself was busy (and smitten) with Felice - the successor to Kazeem's position in the House of Medici. Just as she was making her way there, however, Emilio ambushed and sexually assaulted her, leaving her bloodied and bruised near the exact same alleyway that her father had been murdered in.
She was not sure of how much time had passed and was surprised that her mother had not summoned someone to come look for her. However, Alysa's wait for something to happen was soon over as she noticed a tall and handsome man dressed in black approach her. His blond hair reached his shoulders but was absentmindedly tied back into a loose ponytail. Without a single word to her (but was wearing a smirk that Alysa didn't like), he scooped her weak form into his arms and carried her away. Wanting to scream, Alysa found that - somehow - her voice had been sucked out of her (later revealed to be his primary ability). The blond man - Hector - than began to calmly explain Alysa's destiny' to her and - no sooner than he had finished - he sucked her blood out whilst also injecting his venom into her body, thus transforming her. However, unlike Emilio's attack, Alysa was not conscious to witness it and - instead - succumbed to the darkness.
With no recollection of what had happened (until she felt her creator's mark branded into her neck - then she remembered) and in the middle of nowhere, Alysa was in desperate need of a miracle. However, someone must have heard her beg, for she was in a forest crowded with animals. It took her an enormous amount of willpower and strength, but she began to feed from animals (Hector's idea of feeding from humans was too sickening for Alysa to even comprehend). This - ultimately - led her to live like this for the next couple of centuries. Traveling around the world - discovering the deaths of key figures in her life ... this torture was almost never-ending for her. But, with her new form, she also had new powers, new tastes, a new way of living.
While visiting forks she met Carlisle and he knew she needed help. He offered to let Alysa live with him and his family, Alysa knew this wasnt an offer she couldnt refuse. She told him that she'd think about it. Three days later they met again and she accepted his offer.
